Button Art

File this under "easy, fun and cute!".  I've seen several of these in blogland and I just had to imitate.  We did this one in purple and black to match older daughter's room.  Here are my supplies:

A $2 certificate frame from IKEA, hot glue gun and 2 packages of buttons from Michaels (I found these buttons for $1 each).

And here is my "helper".  Meet Shadow.

I lightly drew the outline of the 'L' on a sheet of white cardstock and began gluing the buttons.  I started with the larger buttons and filled in the gaps with the smaller ones.

I finished up by layering a few buttons and pulling off all the glue strings.

Thanks for stopping by!
